Window On Hawick

This was the grassy area in front of the Teviotdale Leisure Centre.

Another shot of the new roundabout.

Looking along Commercial Road from in front of the Henderson Technical College,
the Old Victoria laundry is boarded up and the Scout Hall is covered in tarpaulin.

This shows the damage caused by a flash flood on Sunday night.

There must have been heavy rain up the valley on Sunday night as the River Slitrig was on flood.

Out the other.

But as you will see in the next picture the River Teviot in the background is very calm.
